I am drawn to the concise emotional impact of childlike colors and materials. Scenes of abundance inspired by scarcity. Reliquaries of the sanctified self. I work compulsively, not so much inspired as driven by my need for other worlds to occupy. From these ephemeral elsewhere-s I am better able to understand our collective reality and my place in it.
